Pokémon Day takes place every year on February 27, when the first Pokémon video games were launched in Japan in 1996! To celebrate this Pokémon Day, a lot of information on various topics is being transmitted.
For the release of the movie Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back - Evolution, which will arrive on Netflix on February 27, Mewtwo will return to Pokémon GO in armor, accompanied by some of the cloned Pokémon seen in the movie!

- Some Pokémon are here to celebrate! Look forward to Pikachu and Évoli, who wear party hats that appear in nature. Bulbizarre, Salamèche and Carapuce will have the same festive look if you get them over 7 km of eggs. Plus, each of these festive Pokémon can be chromatic!
- Mewtwo in armor reacts to five-star attacks! In Pokémon: Mewtwo Counterattack - Evolution, Mewtwo not only appears in armor, but he also returns in raids with an exclusive attack, Psychic Strike.
- Do you remember the cloned Pokémon? Well, some are coming to Pokémon GO! To celebrate the release of Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back - Evolution on Netflix on Pokémon Day, exclusive cloned Pokémon (including Florizarre, Charizard, and Tortank) will appear in four-star raids. - Nidorino, wearing party hats, will appear in two-star raids.
- Ectlasmas known to Léchouille and Psyko and wearing party hats will appear in four-star raids.
- With a little luck, you can meet a chromatic nidorino or a chromatic ectoplasm wearing party hats!
- You can get up to five free raid passes during the event by rotating the arena PhotoDisks. You cannot hold more than one of these raid passes at the same time and they are no longer available after the event ends.
