A brand new event on Pokémon GO ! Has just started. From Friday, February 7th at 8 a.m. to February 10th at 10 p.m. it is the "Sinnoh Region Festival". This weekend is therefore entirely dedicated to the 4th generation. Here you will find everything you can expect as well as our advice to make the most of it!
Everything that will happen this weekend
- No less than 10 Pokémon see a significant increase in their appearance . The most interesting of them have bold names : Tortipouss, Ouisticram, Tiplouf (to be modernized in December 2020 after returning from its exclusive attack), Étourmi, Crikzik, Kranidos , Dinoclier , Laporeille, Archéomire and Griknot .
- Anyone who says new event says new ingenious! This time Riolu and Hippodocus appear in the world of Pokémon GO. The players dreamed of a golden Lucario : there it is!
- The 7 km long eggs are filled with 4th generation Pokémon! This weekend you're likely to hatch from Lixy, Rozbouton, Apitrini, Mustébouée , Ceribou, Archéomire, Manzai, Griknot, Riolu, Hippopotas and Babimanta.
- There are also many changes in the raids ! Among other things, we can notice the presence of Charpenti , who is developing into a mighty Bétochef (raids 1 star); Hippos develop into Hippodocus (1-star raids); Mackogneur , one of the best Combat attackers (3-star raids); Rhinoferos to upgrade to Rhinastoc (4-star raids); Vegetarian, which Togekiss allows (4-star raids); Torterra (4 stars); or Minotaupe (4 stars).
- Finally, you can take part in 5 exclusive field studies . And we'll talk about it in a moment!

There is nothing very complicated and the rewards are very interesting! Do n't miss a Sinnoh stone or a meeting with Kranidos (its evolution, Charkos, is easily the best Roche attacker in the game). We can only encourage you to complete these 5 missions as quickly as possible.
Our advice
- Hatch as many eggs as you can . Your goal is to get a very good griknot or a very good riolu. And if they can be shiny, it's even better! To maximize your slip, we recently wrote a guide that lists the best ways to earn miles on Pokémon GO. Don't forget that only the 7 km of eggs you received after the start of the event will be credited. So gather your gifts!
- Remember to use Nanana berries . This event increases the appearance of many Pokémon, either infrequently (such as 4th generation starters) or strongly (such as Griknot, which we have already talked about, but there is also Dinoclier for example! Its development, Bastiodon, is one of them the best Pokémon from the Super League ).
