The special Valentine's Day event just happened on Pokémon GO ! From February 14th at 8 a.m. to February 17th at 10 p.m., love penetrates your streets. And whether you are a couple or not, this event offers many interesting bonuses. Here is our full guide without further ado!
Everything that will happen
- All Pokémon of pink color appear much more often than in nature, eggs, raids!
- 3 new Shiny are implemented in the game: Ptiravi, Leveinard and Excelangue .
- 2 new 5th generation Pokémon use this to improve the game's distribution: Nanméouïe and Mamanbo . The two newcomers can only be reached with 7 km of eggs . They remain in the game after February 17, but are extremely rare. So go to your incubators!
- There are 3 new field studies available during the event, which we will come back to very soon.
- The "normal" baits last 6 enormous hours : Your city will be covered with rose petals!
- The candies received after catching a Pokémon are multiplied by 2 .
- Only during the event will 8 pink Pokémon be added to the 7 km long eggs : Excelangue, Porygon , Mélo , Toudoudou , Debugant , Lippouti , Lovdisc and Ptiravi.
- Special avatar items can be purchased.
- On Saturday, February 15th, from 2pm to 5pm, Excelangue will break into 4-star raids! It can be brilliant and is subjected to an exclusive attack : tackle . On this occasion, you will receive up to 5 raid passes when you spin PokéStops.

Start the event by focusing on these 5 simple and profitable missions . Here you are:

Leveinard is extremely rare in nature . Every encounter with him is valuable, especially now that a shiny version is available. So don't forget to hit a few servants ! The other quests are more automatic and less important, but they remain profitable .
Maximum candy
Events in which the number of capture candies doubles are rather rare and always great. Even Pokémon that are completely unaffected by the event benefit from this boost. So remember to always use a Nanana berry when you encounter a Pokémon, for which you need sweets!
We recommend that you focus on :- Leveinard for its rarity;
- Rondoudou for developing in Grodoudou , a good Pokémon in the Super League ;
- Melofee , which was easy to find at the start of the game, but has become very rare over time. Its development, Melodelfe , can be used in Hyper League if you have "maximized" it.
Eggs, eggs, eggs
Please note that the eggs received before the start of the event show no special changes. Make space! As soon as this space is free, open the gifts and collect the 7 km of eggs. As we said earlier, these 7km eggs are filled with fairly rare and sometimes useful Pokémon. Don't forget the Excelangue raids!
With its exclusive attack that makes it viable in the Super League and its brilliant potential, Excelangue becomes a very good Pokémon . If you can play for a moment this Saturday, February 15th, do as many raids as possible!
It's a normal Pokémon, so your Mackogneur and other Combat super attackers.
We will also notice the presence of Leveinard (again he) in the raids. For one thing, for another, even if it is a 4-star raid, we are faced with rather defensive Pokémon that will be hard to beat as a duo .
